Dr. Nerad is an award winning dentist who has provided exceptional pediatric dental and orthodontic care in Pleasanton, Livermore, Dublin, San Ramon, Danville, and the greater Tri Valley area since 1989. He graduated with honors from the University of California at Los Angeles. In 1982 Dr. Nerad was one of 20 candidates to receive their Doctor of Medical Dentistry dental degree from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. Following dental school Dr. Nerad was one of two dentists in the United States to start a dual pediatric dentistry and orthodontics specialty training program. Dr. Nerad completed the 3 year specialty residency in pediatric dentistry and orthodontics at the University Of Pennsylvania School Of Dental Medicine and The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia - a tertiary care pediatric hospital world renown for their outstanding care of seriously ill children, teaching and research. “Dr Nerad loves introducing youngsters to dental care so they feel comfortable and look forward to their next visit.” Dr. Nerad lives locally. In his spare time he enjoys bicycling, tennis, hiking, sailing, cooking, and most of all, eating!
