Sustainable Smiles serves people living in Pleasanton and the Tri-Valley area including Dublin,

Dr. Cynthia W. Young, DDS, is the owner and lead dentist at Sustainable Smiles in Pleasanton, CA. A top graduate of USC and member of the National Honor Society, Dr. Young’s passion for dentistry shines in both her commitment to excellence and her dedication to providing honest, conservative dental care. She has taught as a clinical professor at USC and as an assistant professor at UCSF Dental School. Dr. Young holds numerous certifications in Implant and Cosmetic Dentistry and is an Invisalign Gold Plus Provider. Technology, patient comfort, and ethical, individualized treatment are cornerstones of her practice. Raised in Livermore and deeply invested in the East Bay community, Dr. Young takes time to get to know each patient as a person, not just as a case. She cares especially for the underserved, including the elderly, single parents, and those facing financial hardship. Outside the office, she finds joy in being a mom to three children, baking, gardening, and is proud to be Costco’s biggest fan.
Dr. Audrey Duong Ta, DDS, is a dedicated dentist at Sustainable Smiles in Pleasanton, CA. A graduate with honors in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior from UC Davis, Dr. Ta earned her DDS degree from UCSF School of Dentistry with honors. She is a proud member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and Southern Alameda County Dental Society. Dr. Ta is known for her gentle, caring approach, deep knowledge, and commitment to treating each patient as family. She excels at making patients comfortable while providing high-quality, ethical dental care. Outside of work, Dr. Ta is married to a firefighter and is a mom of two young children and a labradoodle. She enjoys camping, traveling, gardening, baking, and discovering local food gems around the Bay Area.
